Here is a scary but true story of a history buff in Pennsylvania named William Maser who refurbishes cannons for fun. He decided recently to fire a cannonball about 2 in. in diameter from a cannon on his property which hit his neighbor's home 400 ft away. No one was hurt, but Maser was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Let this be a lesson to all of us, friends don't let friends fire cannons at their neighbors (even if they feel tempted)
